Sh2-91 is the southern strand and extent supernova remnant G65.2 + 5.7, located around 2600 solar system light-years away in a region rich in dense galactic molecular clouds.
G65.2 + 5.7 is in fact a super-bubble extended to around 587 light-years. Sh2-91 shows strong polarization, indicating the presence of a strong magnetic field.
