Located 3 million light-years away, it’s the most distant object visible to the naked eye; but you need excellent site and very good eyesight to detect a faint white spot…
Comme notre propre galaxie ou encore M 31, la galaxie d’Andromède, M 33 fait partie du « Groupe Local », « notre » groupe galactique.
Situé à 3 millions d’années-lumière, c’est l’objet le plus lointain visible à l’oeil nu ; encore faut-il disposer d’un site excellent et d’une très bonne vue pour déceler une très faible tache blanche…
